The International Franchise Association wanted to better understand the young entrepreneurial market and gain an intimate understanding of their habits, mindset, and behavior. At the same time, their Educational Foundation was looking to educate and inspire young people to consider franchising as a viable entrepreneurial career option. And thus, The Young Entrepreneurs Network and Boston University's Marketing Research Department conducted and released the first psychographic research on the rapidly emerging market of young entrepreneurs.
Released with great success, and substantial attention from the media and business communities, the study broke exclusively in The Wall Street Journal, and was featured by national and regional media including CNN, CNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox News, BBC, NPR, Brandweek and numerous consumer and trade print publications. As a result, the International Franchise Association not only gained the information they sought, but also received extensive media recognition for supporting and funding the study.
