Over 8,000 young leaders from 80 countries gathered last November in beautiful Fukuoka, Japan to attend Junior Chamber International's annual World Congress and induct their 70th World President. In attendance were several of Japan's most prominent leaders including Imperial Highness Prince and Princess Akishino, the Governor of Fukuoka and the Fukuoka City Major.
As a keynote speaker along with Stephen Covey, author of Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Young & Successful Media's Jennifer Kushell presented the "Secrets of the Young & Successful" to the Congress with simultaneous translations in Japanese and Spanish. The underlying message: Be Extraordinary.
The spectacular event was filled with attendees from Bangladesh, Australia, Austria, South Africa, Singapore, Venezuela, Brazil, Jordan, and many other countries, who were eager to show off their national costumes, customs, community programs, political initiatives, and even their own personal style for throwing parties!
