In 2003, students in New Hampshire were buzzing with excitement. Brown University's Entrepreneurship Program had joined forces with the Bryant College Global Entrepreneurship Program to create a highly anticipated event called the "Entrepreneurial Extravaganza."
A rich forum where innovative and entrepreneurially minded individuals could come together to compete in various competitions, network, and gain access to top leaders in business, government, and academia, the boot-camp style program sparked a new tradition in entrepreneurial training.
As the keynote speaker for the inaugural Extravaganza, Young & Successful Media's Jennifer Kushell spent the day sharing her entrepreneurial experiences with this audience of diverse and talented individuals. Focusing on building credibility and respect as a young entrepreneur, Jennifer revealed time-tested strategic methods to manifest this critical component of success. In addressing an issue that young people everywhere face when starting out, the inspiring discussion focused on building critical skills and experience, aligning with the right partners, finding the best mentors, balancing school and a start up, and earning the support of skeptics, friends, and family.
